Not So FunPosted by: sandy on ... 09 May 2010 09:15 am
This week Claire spent time at three soccer games! She loves watching the kids play their games, as well as get her own chance to kick the ball around. She informed us after Grant and Zane’s game: ”When ChunYi [Claire] gets very tall I will play soccer.”
And have no doubts, her soccer skills are coming right along. Just check out her moves in this little video . . .
We also made a few trips to the doctor. The waiting area is decorated fantastically and they have so many fun toys. Claire had a great time . . .
until she had to get her blood drawn!
Having her favorite Moose get his blood drawn, too, helped ease the pain . . . but only slightly!

OK I want to just come and hang out at that Doctors office. That place looks awesome. And blood draws are no fun. How are the other kids doing with the new sibling? How is Claire adjusting? What are you doing to help set a routine, establish rules, adjust her to American food…? Is she overwhelmed with everything? What are some of her perceptions of her new home? Does she miss her caretakers at the orphanage? How does she know English so well? I may have to come hang out with you guys for a week to figure all this out. I love it! Love you guys too!
